There are seven things that a man needs to do to pass women’s dating “test”. If he doesn’t successfully complete any of these criteria he’s committed a dating sin.

Sin #2 – The sin of indecision and whimpiness... If a man can’t choose a restaurant to take you to, he’s a loser.

Women want the man to have a plan for the date. He should call you with a restaurant he’s chosen to take you to, or perhaps an option of two restaurants for you to choose from. Well, that doesn’t sound too unreasonable, does it? It can be quite uncomfortable for a woman when a new date asks her where she’d like to go for dinner. If she chooses a restaurant that’s fairly reasonably priced, he might think she doesn’t have much class or taste in food. If she chooses a place that’s pricey he might think she’s quite presumptuous about spending his money.

When we asked men, they thought they were being the most thoughtful when they let the woman decide where she’d like to go. This way she can choose the type of food she likes, the part of town that’s most convenient for her, and a place where she’s comfortable.

TRUE STORY: Donna is a 43 year old divorced working mother of two. Dan is a highly successful, intelligent single dad. When Dan called to set up the 1st meeting, Donna was “angry and insulted” that he hadn’t decided where they were going to meet. She suggested that he call her back when he had an idea. Dan called her back later that day and suggested they meet at a very nice bar in an upscale hotel. That made Donna even angrier because she just doesn’t meet men in hotels on first or second contacts!

Now, if Donna had such strong feelings about what would be an appropriate venue for a first meeting, wouldn’t it have been much easier for her to suggest a place in which she would have felt comfortable right from the very beginning? Poor Dan was damned no matter what he did!

So think again if you’re feeling like the guy is a loser if he can’t even choose a restaurant to take you to.
